We all knew that Brady Hoke was a stellar recruiter. But perhaps he’s a lot better than first perceived.

For the 2015 season (which is obviously still a long ways off), Hoke was able to pluck 5-Star wideout George Campbell (Tarpon Springs, Fla) right out of the heart of SEC country.

And before the Wolverine detractors (or even SEC slaps) begin to wonder when exactly Campbell will flip to Alabama or Florida, the extremely talented prospect says he’s “100 percent” committed to Ann Arbor.

“After talking with my coach and my parents, that’s one thing we talked about the most, the commitment process and not decommiting,” Campbell said Monday during an interview with ESPN’s 100.9-FM’s Jared Sandler. “I’m going to stick with it. I was taught to stay with my commitment, and that’s something I’m going to do — no matter what — with Michigan.

“I’m 100 percent with it, and no one has to worry about me flopping to a different school at all.”

But it doesn’t end there for Campbell. Not only is he fully committed to Michigan, he’s committed to recruiting more top prospects for the Maize and Blue.

Two days after he announced his intentions, Michigan received a commitment from running back Damien Harris who is the 20th ranked prospect on ESPN’s overall rankings.

And Campbell says he’s just getting started with the recruiting…

“I think I’ve been doing a good job of it so far,” he said. “I’ve already got Damien Harris, and I’m working on some other kids now.”

Campbell, a 6′ 3″ wideout with lightning fast speed (4.3 40-yard dash) commented that it was the family atmosphere head coach Brady Hoke has with the program as a big reason why he decided to call Ann Arbor his home away from home.
