Eastern Michigan WR Demarius Reed found dead from gunshot wound



According to Mlive.com’s John Counts, Eastern Michigan University wide receiver Demarius Reed was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound Ypsilanti Police confirmed Friday.

Reed’s body was discovered by his roommate in the hallway of their apartment building on the 700 block of  West Clark Road around 7:15 AM Friday morning.

The junior receiver out of Chicago, Reed started all six games for the Eagles this season accumulating 15 catches for 185 yards and a touchdown which is good for fourth overall on the team.
