The Tigers made five more cuts this morning getting their roster down to thirty.
Reliever Robbie Weinhardt, outfielder Clete Thomas and infielder Scott Sizemore were optioned to Triple A Toledo.
The team also assigned reliever Fu-Te Ni and veteran catcher Max St. Pierre to minor league camp.
The interesting move here was Scott Sizemore heading back to Toledo. Sizemore has often times been seen as the starting second baseman for the Tigers ever since they decided to let Placido Polanco go via free agency prior to last season.
With Sizemore now with the Mudhens Danny Worth and Will Rhymes will more than likely make the opening day roster.
