The first Michigan Wolverine went off the board on the second day of the NFL Draft.

With the 41st overall pick, 9th overall in the second round the Carolina Panthers selected Devin Funchess making him the first Wolverine WR taken in the first four rounds since Mario Manningham (3rd round) back in 2008.

As he makes his way to Carolina, it’s assumed that Funchess will be paired with Kelvin Benjamin for a pretty big deep threat duo.
