Eastern Michigan will have three alternates in 2015

Eastern Michigan athletics announced that the football team would use three separate alternate uniforms this upcoming season.

The uniforms will be worn on three different specific dates starting on September 5th during the season opener against Old Dominion. During that game Eastern Michigan will wear green and gold uniforms to commemorate hall of fame cross-country and track and field coach Bob Parks.

The following week on the road against Wyoming, Eastern Michigan will sport all white uniforms designed by the seniors on the team.

“It is a blessing and an honor to be able to help create your own jersey as a player,” said senior defensive back Jalen Williams. “It is like creating your player on a game when you were younger.”

Finally on September 26th at home against Army the Eagles will wear special all gray uniforms with red, white and blue on the shoulders to commemorate military appreciation.

Bottom line though, Eastern Michigan continues to sport some of the ugliest uniforms in the country.
