Ice Cold First Half Dooms Hillsdale

The first half of the first game of the new year was ice cold for the Hillsdale College men’s basketball team.

The Chargers managed to make just three field goals and trailed by 22 points by halftime of Thursday night’s GLIAC contest versus Wayne State University in Detroit. Although the Chargers doubled their scoring output in the second half compared to the first, it wasn’t enough as the team lost to the Warriors 71-57 at the Matthaei Center. Hillsdale is now 8-3 overall and 4-3 in the GLIAC while Wayne State remains undefeated in the GLIAC, improving to 6-0.
