The Mitch McGary commitment has already started to change the outlook of the Michigan basketball program.
First off it has shot the program all the way up the ESPNU class rankings to No. 5 nationally. This is the first time this has happened in over a decade. Furthermore, McGary not only adds toughness, strength and energy in the paint but hit mere presence at Michigan could lure other top recruits to Ann Arbor in the future.
Whats great for Michigan is that even though McGary is the centerpiece of their team going forward, they still have other threats that the opposition will need to be very aware of. SF Glenn Robinson brings athleticism and a scorer’s touch, while Nik Stauskas is a swingman with impressive shooting range.
Michigan certainly is going to be a dangerous team in the Big Ten.
