Michigan drops two spots in AP after loss to Iowa

After being part of the college equivalent of the ending to The Godfather, the damage to Michigan‘s standing in the polls doesn’t look to be that bad.

After losing 14-13 on a last second field goal to Iowa, Michigan dropped two spots in the AP Poll from No. 2 to No. 4. Meanwhile in the Amway Coaches Poll the Wolverines dropped one spot from three to four.

Luckily however if Michigan was going to chose a week where their offense decided to give their best impression of The Walking Dead this week was it. Including the Wolverines, three of the four playoff teams were losers Saturday.

No. 3 Clemson fell at home to Pitt on a last second field goal while No. 4 Washington was managed quite handedly at him to USC. In turn, Alabama remains atop the AP Poll after easily disposing of Mississippi State, Ohio State moves to the two spot, Louisville No. 3, Clemson No. 5, Wisconsin No. 6, Washington follows up at No. 7 and Oklahoma comes in at No. 8.
