Michigan gets big-time grad transfer Jaaron Simmons

According to the Athens MessengerMichigan has scored star grade transfer Jaaron Simmons from the University of Ohio.

The former first-team all-conference player in the MAC averaged 15.9 points, 6.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds for the Bobcats last season.

The 6-foot-1, 184-pound redshirt junior has one more year of eligibility left and will be available to the Wolverines right away.

In his third stop college after originally landing in Houston, Simmons should provide a much needed boost to the Wolverines’ backcourt given their losses of Derrick Walton, Jr. and Zak Irvin.
