No. 3 Michigan was stunned in Madison Saturday afternoon as they fell to the Badgers 65-62 in overtime after some clutch three pointers from Wisconsin’s Ben Brust.

Clutch though may be an understatement.

After a big three in the second half from Tim Hardaway Jr. to give the Wolverines a 60-57 lead, Brust was able to hit a 40-foot prayer as time expired to send the game to overtime.

In overtime Michigan had their chances but simply couldn’t sink shots including Trey Burke whose three-point attempt at the end of the overtime period went in and out giving Wisconsin the huge win.

Burke though all scorers with 19 points while Hardaway Jr. finished with 18.

The loss now drops Michigan to 8-3 in the Big Ten and 21-3 overall.
