According to league sources, the Lions have agreed to terms with free agent linebacker Justin Durant on a two year deal.

A tweet from Durant Wednesday night may have confirmed the signing, “Now everybody from the 313, put ya muthaf*ckin hands up and follow me!!!”

Durant (25) spent the last four seasons playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars. In 2009, he started 13 games for the Jaguars and recorded 98 tackles. He played in 10 games in 2009, with 55 tackles.

Unfortunately for Durant the last two seasons were plagued by injuries where he missed a total of nine games. However the 6-foot-1, 240 pound Durant is very athletic and will give the Lions the option to play him at either inside or outside linebacker.
The Lions are also still reportedly out of the running for Tennessee linebacker Stephen Tulloch.
