Wisconsin-Milwaukee expected to hire Michigan assistant LaVall Jordan as their new head coach

Michigan assistant coaches appear to be a hot commodity among mid major schools this offseason.

According to Joe Rothstein of CBS Sports, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is expected to announce Michigan assistant LaVall Jordan as their new head coach.

Jordan, who has spent that past six seasons in Ann Arbor with the Wolverines is looking to take over a Panthers team last coached by Rob Jeter (20-13 last season) who ended up taking them to the NCAA Tournament twice during his tenure. Milwaukee though was in a bit of a NCAA Tournament drought having last made the Big Dance back in the 2013-14 season.

In addition to Jordan, Bacari Alexander has drawn interest from the University of Detroit to take over their program after recently firing Ray McCallum.
