“Downtown” Russell Brown of TMSNX made his predictions for Michigan State’s Big Ten opener with Ohio State.

Here is what he had to say…

Yes, this game could very well be a sleeper. Why? Ohio State is at home and it’s a place where they always play well at. So they might play really well. You also have to take in consideration that Ohio State finds themselves as contenders for the Big Ten Championship so starting conference play on the right foot would be a good idea and beating Michigan State would make a big statement. However, their offense doesn’t seem to moving forward like it used to. Now a days it seems like it’s just moving backwards. As for Michigan State, they crushed Central Michigan last week and will be bringing all they got on defense because this could very well be a big defensive game. If Kirk Cousins doesn’t play well and the run game gets shut down like they did against Notre Dame, well then what’s that tell you…defense. I’m going with the Spartans 21-17.
