Madre London rushed for 52 yards and two touchdowns while Tyler O’Connor went 10-of-15 for 141 yards and three touchdowns as Michigan State ended their seven-game losing streak with a 49-0 win over Rutgers.
This also marked Michigan State’s first Big Ten win this season before they welcome in Ohio State next weekend for the final home game of the year.
The Spartans controlled just about every aspect of the game jumping out to an early 21-0 lead in the first quarter before taking a 35-0 lead at the half. They set an early tempo of running right at Rutgers as LJ Scott rushed for 122 yards, 103 alone in the first half.
Defensively Michigan State never allowed the Scarlett Knights to move the ball passed their own 27-yard line.
