After their 37-21 victory over Iowa Saturday, Michigan State become the highest ranked Big Ten team in all three of the nations major polls.

The Spartans now rank #12 in both the AP and USA Today polls while they come in at #16 in the latest BCS standings. Nebraska, Wisconsin and Michigan are ranked between 16 through 18.

LSU, Oklahoma State and Alabama hold the top three spots in the BCS.

Despite Nebraska’s victory over Penn State from Happy Valley, Michigan State is firmly in the driver’s seat to win the Legends division. The Spartans host Indiana from Spartan Stadium on Saturday at noon then get travel to Northwestern on November 26th. If they win both of those games they will guarantee themselves a spot in the first Big Ten championship game in Indianapolis.
