Michigan State safety Montae Nicholson was one of the fortunate Spartans taken in the 2017 NFL Draft. In fact after Malik McDowell in the second round, Nicholson was the second and last Michigan State player selected leaving five others on the board.

Nicholson, who was taken in the fourth round, 123rd overall by Washington will enter DC hoping his coverage skills and defense against the run will find him on solid ground when it comes to making their roster out of camp.
