Michigan State has added offensive lineman James Kittredge, a transfer form Vanderbilt. Kittredge will have to sit out a year and redshirt per NCAA rules, reportedly left Vanderbilt due to lack of playing time.

According to rumors, the 6′ 4″ and 270 pound lineman says he would rather play defensive lineman, the position he was originally recruited at.

The three-star recruit held offers from many schools including Colorado, Duke, Louisville, Maryland, NC State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, South Carolina and Virginia.
